About This Spot

Mani’s is one of those quietly vibrant spots where the rhythm of Hampstead feels just right. Tucked away on a pedestrian-only street, this café-restaurant hums with a gentle energy—easygoing yet full of life, especially in the easy light of morning when the outdoor tables begin to fill. There’s a timeless charm here, where neighbors and visitors alike gather to savor moments that feel both simple and deliberate. The mood is unhurried but lively, a perfect reflection of this corner of London.

Inside, the space embraces a casual, welcoming spirit—nothing stiff or formal, just a warm backdrop of soft music blending into conversation and the occasional clatter from the kitchen. Outside, the small terrace offers a front-row seat to the flow of the neighborhood, making each visit feel like more than just a meal, but a shared experience with the street itself.

Food at Mani’s is familiar yet thoughtfully prepared, encouraging you to linger over the classics with gentle twists that make every bite feel homely but fresh. Whether it’s eggs served in a way that feels both comforting and a touch unexpected, or a cappuccino that arrives with rich, steady warmth, the offerings invite you to start your day slowly but satisfyingly. Got recommended this as one of better brunch places in Hampstead and wasn’t wrong! Sat outside for brunch - would be tricky in winter to get a table at weekend, by time we finished around 1130 there was a 10 person queue. Great food - shaksuka and scrambled eggs on toast. Juices also nice and fresh and generally not overpriced like it can be in the area. Very friendly service

This is a great place to get a good full English breakfast, as well as the other usual breakfast/brunch foods. Omelets, avocado toast, porridge, etc. It is a super casual place, with tables outside. Dependably good food, and its location on a pedestrian-only street makes dining outside quite lovely.

Highly suggest! Cappuccino was amazing, Turkish eggs were insanely good, and the service was friendly and fast! Loved it.

Absolute gem of a restaurant! Everyone was so friendly, the food was amazing and affordable (homemade coffee cake per the waitress’ recommendation), good music was a bonus (Leon Thomas, Sade, Olivia Dean) hehe. Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through the area!

Sweet village cafe. Great prices and a homey atmosphere. You can settle in and listen to the cozy chatter while you eat good food. Just feels very simple and authentic, and the staff are super welcoming.
